We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Strategic Pricing and Contracting to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies, managing contract negotiations, and optimizing revenue for our organization. As a Senior Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the pricing and contracting strategies to drive the company’s growth and profitability.
- Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with the company’s financial goals and market dynamics. Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to make informed pricing recommendations.
- Contract Management: Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards. Collaborate with legal and sales teams to optimize contract terms and conditions.
- Revenue Optimization: Continuously monitor and analyze pricing models and contract performance. Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve profitability, and reduce risks.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities, threats, and competitive positioning. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor pricing strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and legal teams to align pricing and contracting strategies with broader business objectives.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of pricing and contract professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure the team’s success.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics and pricing tools to assess pricing and contract performance. Make data-driven recommendations for pricing adjustments and contract improvements.
- Compliance: Ensure that all pricing and contracting activities adhere to regulatory and compliance standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing and contract management, preferable in biotech/pharma industry
- Strong understanding of pricing strategies, contract negotiation, and revenue optimization.
- Exceptional analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven leadership experience, including the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in pricing and contract management software and tools.
- Expert Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
